Great to see new people here eager to learn and to show their work.
Unfortunately, what you have uploaded here is your Movie Maker file. If you haven't already, you first have to let Movie Maker produce a video file (there is a "save movie" button on the right.
Next, I fear you won't be able to upload such a big file here directly. You will first have to upload them, for example on youtube. If you set the file as "not listed" only those who follow your link here can see and find it there.
If you have uploaded it, you must copy the url and can than post the video link here with the video button above.
Hope that helped! Looking forward to seeing your work!

Thank you for posting that on Youtube and welcome to your training with the TPLA system. Please always take any criticisms as us trying to help you get better and better. With that said this isn't a bad start but it needs work. I'll list the things here I'd like for you to focus on.
1. Front and side views of each technique are helpful for use to better examine your progress so please try to shoot both in the future. 2. Your stance in the very beginning needs works. Your lead foot is pointed outward when it needs to be inward instead and your rear leg looks almost straight and stance too wide. Feet should be not much wider then the width of your shoulders. 3.As a result of problem #2 your hut slide is wobbly. Fix the stance and shoot for a very smooth Hut Slide. You goal is for your head to not wobble but instead glide forward and back. 4. You Ready Stance... again this is a stance issue as mentioned above but one last things is put the saber more behind you and less to the side of you. 5. Kneeling stance your upper body should be more forward. 6. Your blocks: High parry was too forward. Think of it like a flat roof instead. Your mid and low parries were too wide. The saber should black as if you are inside a tight fitting box. Your drop parry is too vertical. Angle it like a closed umbrella.
That is all I have for now. I look forward to seeing you progress.
Desalon Manshad: Hello! Lately my arm has been feeling better, so I should be good for doing some more primer training

BRAWLER: Hello all! Summer is here in full swing! I hope everyone is taking advantage of the beautiful weather and getting outside for their saber practice! Hope to see everyone post up online, what we've been working on.

BRAWLER: Hello Darth Revic! How goes the training?

Furiora Helseare: Because I'm still struggling with the saber position due to my huge gut (that I will one day get rid of), is the saber required to be facking backwards during front stance?

BRAWLER: Keep at it Furi!! Slow and steady friend, progress will come! 😊

Mitchell Theron Patrick: Hello, I’m new to the idea of lightsaber dueling and I still need to get a lightsaber. I was wondering if TPLA still conducts classes as I live in Michigan.

Dark Angelus: Greetings to all. I am already in a class called River City Jedi. Learned so much already and they do use TPLA as part of their guide lines and forms.

Furiora Helseare: I know, was crazy for me to see as well, although I'm not a huge fan of the rules... honestly never liked "right of way" in fencing. If people score a double neither should count, you're both dead
Mar 2, 2019 13:57:27 GMT -5
Furiora Helseare: "right of way" doesn't exist in a real fight, I don't care if it's "your turn to attack" if I see an opening I can take, I'm taking it.
Mar 2, 2019 13:58:45 GMT -5
Nero Attoru: Right of way has some roots in realism, since attacking is given priority (which makes sense given the fact that the attacker would theoretically strike a killing blow first)
Mar 6, 2019 16:15:21 GMT -5
Nero Attoru: Regardless, epee is a weapon that most people forget, and doesn't use right of way! Two hits gives each fencer a point, reflecting the double kill.
Mar 6, 2019 16:16:06 GMT -5
cyclingswitch: I get why they went with that system though. If you watch Saber Legion fighting instead, it becomes more akin to kendo. It's realistic fighting but it doesn't look like Star Wars anymore.
Mar 23, 2019 20:34:49 GMT -5
cyclingswitch: In Saber Legion, moving your saber around more than you need to to thrust, parry or do a quick strike to the waist or head is basically giving away a point. At least that's what I've seen in the matches I've watched with their style.

Colin the Grey: Hey guys, whenever someone can find the time to go over my second Shii-Cho formula primer submission, that'll be a huge help. My free time is going to go down hard in a month or so, and I'd like to make more progress in the meantime. Thanks!
