Hello, someone here like play Tabletop RPG? Did you try the 3 Star Wars RPG (I guess there is one more)? Which one do you like?
I felt in love with the new one, the Fantasy Flight Star Wars (Age of Rebelion it is my favourite, but I use all the manual when I do as Game Master). I tried the D20, but I don't fell the power of being a Jedi. A lightsaber does 1D8 damage what is terrible low and here you now can jump with Ataru and cutting heads on the way.
Well, If I star talking about RPG, I will never end this post. So, let me know about your experience and maybe we can do a game session online.

Back in the 90s, I played the original Star Wars die six system. I remember it being very clunky, and less about the mechanics and not very fun. And I picked up the D 20 Version, and had characters I thoroughly enjoyed. The wound point System lead to very quick, gruesome, and decisive battles when critical hits were rolled. Then, saga edition came out. This one really ramped up The use of force powers, and is still my go to system. I haven’t tried the fantasy flight system, but several of my local fellow trainees enjoy it, and I like watching the miniature battlese when I go to my local comic book store.

I played Saga and I don't like it... I was a short campaing, but I didn't feel good when mi lightsaber does less damage than a blaster (D8 it is a very low damage). Here in FFG you can remove stormtroopers heads with one attack. The damage it is low (6 damage + success), but ignore the soak of the enemie, so always you hit with "true" damage.

FFG, is that where the Ghostfire's from? Cause I want me one of those for a staff where no one can see the second blade and thus think it's a light-pike until they're wondering why they're missing their head.

My wife wasn’t really a fan of it either. The simplistic nature of skills and combat make it more suited for roll playing than role playing.

I guess yes it is FFG Ghostfire Crystal These crystals are so transparent that they are nigh-invisible. The blade formed by this form of kyber makes no noise, is dim and may form illusory images as it is used. Price HP Required Rarity (R) 14000 1 9 The crystal can only be applied to Lightsabers. Base Modifier: Damage +6, Critical Rating +2, Breach +1, Sunder Quality. May spend 4 advantages to prevent opponent from using the Parry talent. Mod Options: 2x "Defensive +1", 2x "Damage +1"

I have the "Edge of the Empire" and "Force and Destiny" rulebooks from the FFG RPG. I always wanted to try playing, especially since I've played a couple D&D campaigns and I have a better idea of how these games work. But I never had friends who were interested or the time to learn and play it. I liked the idea of making my own Force sensitive character and going through the various Force and lightsaber skill trees, crafting my own character, etc.

I haven't played FFG's system yet... but it seems pretty cool. IMHO... FFG makes the best games, PERIOD!
