I thank you very much for all of your feedback! Now that my status has been changed to 'Initiate' I shall continue to work on the Primer with the corrections you suggested above and will post a video in the near future with the corrections implemented.
Thank you again!
P.S. For a French Guy I found your English explanations to be very clear and concise!

First, in future, try and keep all your submissions in one thread to reduce cluter on the forums.
Basic stances and guards look good, however I think you're leaning a little far forward on Dewback rider, I was told to try and keep my lower legs and back at about the same angle. However, later on during your transitions from dewback to kneeling, you show a more alinged one. This is just going off what I'm drawing from what I've been told, the masters may well tell you that you're correct.
Movement all looks good.
I don't know what to say about your strikes personally. Having been told these were an issue on my submissions I'm not really in any position to say anything. Those last couple of shiaks looked more like shiims on the left of camera though.
Zone 1 parries, this might just be me and my bokken training and thus what I'm about to say is incorrect for this system and you're doing it right, but when parrying overhead; you want the blade to be over your head, not your hands and hilt, otherwise that's what's getting hit.
Zone 2 and 3 parries are wide. Notice a lot of people (myself included) make this one. So I'll give the normal answer: "Try to imagine you're fighting inside a box just barly bigger then your body. You want to tap the walls, not break them." OK, that's my version, but you get the idea, right? Drop parries look good though.
Zone 6 doesn't look like it travels far enough to save your back leg from a strike, but that could well be me, take this one with a grain of salt. In fact, take ALL of this with a grain of salt while you wait for someone who knows what they're talking about.
Certainly not a bad attempt. Keep up the good work! Also, just for personal curiosity, what waster are you using? Might be the camera but the tip looks different to most bokken I've seen.
Desalon Manshad: Hello! Lately my arm has been feeling better, so I should be good for doing some more primer training

BRAWLER: Hello all! Summer is here in full swing! I hope everyone is taking advantage of the beautiful weather and getting outside for their saber practice! Hope to see everyone post up online, what we've been working on.

BRAWLER: Hello Darth Revic! How goes the training?

Furiora Helseare: Because I'm still struggling with the saber position due to my huge gut (that I will one day get rid of), is the saber required to be facking backwards during front stance?

BRAWLER: Keep at it Furi!! Slow and steady friend, progress will come! 😊

Mitchell Theron Patrick: Hello, I’m new to the idea of lightsaber dueling and I still need to get a lightsaber. I was wondering if TPLA still conducts classes as I live in Michigan.

Dark Angelus: Greetings to all. I am already in a class called River City Jedi. Learned so much already and they do use TPLA as part of their guide lines and forms.

Furiora Helseare: I know, was crazy for me to see as well, although I'm not a huge fan of the rules... honestly never liked "right of way" in fencing. If people score a double neither should count, you're both dead
Mar 2, 2019 13:57:27 GMT -5
Furiora Helseare: "right of way" doesn't exist in a real fight, I don't care if it's "your turn to attack" if I see an opening I can take, I'm taking it.
Mar 2, 2019 13:58:45 GMT -5
Nero Attoru: Right of way has some roots in realism, since attacking is given priority (which makes sense given the fact that the attacker would theoretically strike a killing blow first)
Mar 6, 2019 16:15:21 GMT -5
Nero Attoru: Regardless, epee is a weapon that most people forget, and doesn't use right of way! Two hits gives each fencer a point, reflecting the double kill.

cyclingswitch: I get why they went with that system though. If you watch Saber Legion fighting instead, it becomes more akin to kendo. It's realistic fighting but it doesn't look like Star Wars anymore.
Mar 23, 2019 20:34:49 GMT -5
cyclingswitch: In Saber Legion, moving your saber around more than you need to to thrust, parry or do a quick strike to the waist or head is basically giving away a point. At least that's what I've seen in the matches I've watched with their style.

Colin the Grey: Hey guys, whenever someone can find the time to go over my second Shii-Cho formula primer submission, that'll be a huge help. My free time is going to go down hard in a month or so, and I'd like to make more progress in the meantime. Thanks!
